I have no idea if the people who helped me this morning will ever see this, but I have a huge thank you to them. I was verbally attacked and threatened by a man this morning on 30th and Hoover. I stood my ground with him but got very emotional when I alerted DPS. A faculty member heard me on the phone and offered to stand with me until DPS got there. To him, thank you. The man was still feet away and you made me feel much safer. I also appreciated that you asked permission before standing next to me.

After DPS left the man saw me again. I ran to two people and described the situation. They both stood with me, let me pet their dog, and kept their eyes peeled. DPS caught the man shortly after I left you. Thank you for dealing with my crying and offering me protection.

To all the Trojans who read this, this area can be unsafe. If anything happens to you, ask for help. This is the second time I have been saved by complete strangers. This man was ready to fight me, and possibly rob me (he kept yelling at me to turn around and I had a backpack on).

The "Trojan Family" is no joke. Thank you to every person on here who has ever helped someone in any situation.
